Summer brings mangoes and March brings Apples. Don’t know what I mean…well I’m taking about Apple event which is held in March and followed by events around June and September. I was scrolling through products offered by Apple and there was a mention of apple cloth. Price $19. “Made with soft, nonabrasive material, the Polishing Cloth cleans any Apple display, including nano-texture glass, safely and effectively,” reads Apple’s description of the cloth on its product page. As I write this, the apple online shop says in India the MRP is Rs 1900 and EMI starts from 224 pm. Wow!! Now this is what I call a heavy purchase. Note this: People are ready to buy it.
Apple- the name is enough to create excitement, curiosity and show off. The company has a market capitalization of $2 trillion and is slowly inching towards $3 trillion. Apple’s hunger for innovation and next generation technology since 1976 is commendable. People are ready to pay the price what it asks for its product. The cloth is especially made for apple products. Special products deserve special treatment.
Ever wonder why Apple is the biggest tech company?
Innovation and looks are offered by other brands but people come to Apple for exceptional experience. The brand sells experience and not products. The brand has successfully captured the No 1 position in consumer psychology. Although it is a tech company, customer service makes it stand out. If any of our apple products are malfunctioning the authorised retail stores provide you full support. They prioritise customer satisfaction over anything else. Spending few minutes in the Apple store is like a feeling of royalty. It seems the company has made its goal to build apple stores as wonders of the world. Check out the pictures of Apple Marina Bay Sand store in Singapore, it will leave you awestruck!!
In the tech industry, Apple has one of the highest NPS i.e Net Promoter Score. NPS means how much people love the brand and the likelihood they would promote/recommend it to others. A NPS score above 50 is excellent. Apple has always scored above 60.
